  ABSeafood cooks up a mean fresh shrimp basket loaded with fries or potato salad and hush puppies. The shrimp is fresh like everything else in the market. Other to-go standards include fried grouper or oysters with your choice of fries or potato salad and hush puppies as well as boiled Royal Red and boiled shrimp plates served with corn and potatoes; gumbo, crawfish etouffee, West Indies Salad and more. They sell a large variety of fresh seafood - fresh shucked oysters, shrimp, snow crabs, scallops, lobster, six different kinds of fish filets and the like - that you can buy and cook at home. Plus they will cook up anything you purchase in the store. You can also dine in, and although it’s not a white tablecloth kind of place, it has a certain amount of charm: bottled drinks are iced down in a cooler in front of the checkout, seafood is displayed on ice in a nearby glass case, there’s a steady stream of customers coming and going and the friendly guys taking orders, filling orders, and cooking up that wonderful fresh seafood back in the kitchen don’t seem to get stressed. ABSeafood has a bright future – you can feel it in the air. I can’t wait to go back.
